Serbian Minister for the Environment visits Cuba

Serbia's Minister for Environmental Protection, Goran Trivan.

Havana, February 24 (RHC)-- Serbia's Minister for Environmental Protection, Goran Trivan, arrived in Cuba on an official visit, where he will carry out an extensive program of activities, including the signing of a cooperation document. 

The Minister, who is traveling accompanied by the Assistant Minister for International Cooperation and Integration into the European Union, responds to an invitation from the Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment of that country, Elba Rosa Pérez Montoya. 

During his stay in Cuba, the Serbian visitor will hold talks with authorities of the Environment Agency and will visit the Institute of Ecology and Systematics. 

To wrap his five-day visit, he will tour Old Havana, the historic district of the Cuban capital, as well as the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve.
