Parliamentary group reiterates solidarity with Cuban medical collaboration

Brasilia, May 1 (RHC)-- The Brazil-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group reiterated its solidarity with the example of the medical collaboration that the Caribbean country has been providing to the world for almost six decades.

The group, made up of 65 deputies and 12 senators, said in a statement that it supports all initiatives aimed at recognizing the internationalist, humanitarian and fraternal solidarity of the medical services of Cuba, reports Prensa Latina news agency.

The Brazil-Cuba solidarity group states that it not only supports the humanitarian action of Cuban health professionals at this time of global pandemic calamity, but throughout the course of their victorious Revolution.

The text of the statement was signed by the president of the group, Deputy Lídice da Mata, of the Brazilian Socialist Party.
