Miami, October 26 (RHC) The Miami-based Alianza Martiana Coalition organized Sunday a caravan of hundreds of people. It paraded through the streets of that Floridian city, either on foot or on bicycles or in cars.

Despite the rain and the threats from anti-Cuban groups, they expressed their rejection of the blockade's intensification. They urged people not to vote for Donald Trump in the upcoming elections on November 3.

Alianza Martiana, along with other Cuban organizations in the United States, issued a statement strongly condemning the ban on sending family remittances to Cuba. "The entire policy of the Trump administration and its backyard allies against the peoples of Cuba and Venezuela is a violation of fundamental human rights," the text stressed.

They stressed that they now have an opportunity to demonstrate their rejection of this inhumane policy by voting against these retrograde forces in the presidential elections.  "Each one of our votes will determine the defeat in Florida of Donald Trump for the presidency," concluded the note.
