Jose Ramon Cabañas concludes his mission as Cuban Ambassador to the United States

Havana, December 21 (RHC)-- In a verbal note addressed to the Department of State, the Cuban Embassy to the United States informed that José Ramón Cabañas Rodríguez has completed his duty as Ambassador of the island to that country on Monday, December 21, 2020.

The verbal note, circulated on Twitter by the Cuban Embassy in Washington, informs that Counselor Rodney Gonzalez will serve as Charge d'Affaires Ad Interim until the arrival of the new Chief of Mission, Ambassador Lianys Torres Rivera.

Ambassador Cabañas served at the Cuban Embassy in Washington since 2012. 

Earlier this month, Ambassador Torres Rivera concluded her assignment as Cuba's Ambassador to Vietnam.
