A note from the Cuban Tourism office in Madrid stated that the wealth and variety of the Caribbean nation, with sun and beach destinations, along with other ecological and architectural heritage options, will be shared with fair-goers.

The exhibit will commemorate the 500th anniversary of three of its villages: Trinidad, Camagüey, and Sancti Spiritus, tourist potential of Havana, Varadero, Holguin, Santiago de Cuba, and the northern keys of Villa Clara and Ciego de Avila.

The Cuban representation will be presided over by Tourism counselor at the Cuban embassy in Spain, Dulce Maria Sanchez.
