Cuba reports 937 and 4 deaths

Havana, February 20 (RHC)-- Cuba continued reporting on Saturday unfavorable results in the confrontation of the COVID19 pandemic. The national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, today reported 937 infections and 4 deaths in the last 24 hours.

With the date from the last 24 hours, the infections surpassed 5 thousand during the week.

Durán explained that 17,145 tests were carried out to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the cause of the pandemic.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 43 484 have been infected with Covid-19 and 291 have died.

Havana reported 527 cases on Friday. Guantanamo followed with 76, and Santiago de Cuba 64.
