Havana, June 23 (RHC) Cuba and Angola share friendship, solidarity and economic cooperation with very promising futures, said Angolan ambassador to Havana Jose Cesar Augusto, following the recent official visit to the island by Angola’s President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos.

The ambassador made his statements at the Varadero Juan Gualberto Gomez International Airport, when Dos Santos left Cuba for Angola on Saturday, after paying a visit that included official talks with president Raul Castro and the signing of bilateral cooperation accords in the areas of construction and transportation.

During his stay in Cuba, Dos Santos toured the Special Development Zone at the Mariel Harbor, 50 kilometers from Havana, which is expected to become a main door in Cuban foreign trade.
