Cuba-Venezuela University Cooperation Shows Progress with New Projects

Havana, August 15 (RHC), -– The Cuba-Venezuela higher education program is growing with new projects aimed to favor almost 2.000 Venezuelan people before 2020, according to Cuba's Higher Education Ministry (MES) plans.

MES International Collaboration Director, David Colmenares, reported some 2,889 people are currently registered in masters and doctorate programs.

Colmenares explained 1,756 people have graduated in different fields of knowledge as library science, information science, pedagogy, social branch, engineering, architecture and technology, among others.

The MES minister said that his organization is planing to complete joint graduations by Cuban and Venezuelan universities.
