Bahraini-Cuban Medical Cooperation Discussed

Manama, August 25 (BNA-RHC) -– In the capital of Bahrain on Monday, the Minister of State for Defense Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa met the Riyadh-Resident Cuban Ambassador to Bahrain, Jose Enrique Rodriguez.

They discussed the future signing of a cooperation agreement in the fields of medical services and exchange of expertise between the two friendly countries.

The Minister lauded and appreciated the development and progress seen by Cuba in various fields, noting that Bahrain looks forward to benefiting from Cuban expertise in the medical services field.

The Commander of the King Hamad University Hospital, Major-General Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Atiyatullah Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
