Havana, October 25 (RHC) Canadian writers will give details next month, in the city of Toronto, about the negative impact of Washington's hostile policy towards Cuba.
The Canadian Solidarity Network issued a communique announcing that intellectuals Keith Bolender, Stephen Kimber and Arnold August will present on November 8, at the University of York, materials on the over-50-year US economic blockade of Cuba and they later will do the same at the Union of Steel Workers, according to Prensa Latina news agency.
On the occasion, Bolender will launch his book entitled Cuba under siege, which tells the story of the US siege on the Caribbean nation.
Stephen Kimber will also present his most recent book on the fiven Cuban anti-terrorist fighters who were given unfair sentences in the United States. And Arnold August will launch his book Cuba and its Neighbors. Democracy in Motion, which analyzes in detail the Cuban electoral system, and the democratic processes underway in Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador.
