Belarus and Cuba Agree to Increased Economic Cooperation

Minsk, October 23 (RHC-CISTran) -– The Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) have hosted delegates from Cuba to discuss economic cooperation.

BelCCI Deputy Chairman Vladimir Ulkanhovich and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investments of the Republic of Cuba Antonio Carricarte Corona headed up their respective teams of delegates. The Belarus side noted economic potential and chamber activities that substantiated economic development. Corona said that Cuban legislation is of benefit to foreign investors.

Both countries’ chambers of commerce agreed to cooperate economically speaking and that friendly relations between Belarus and Cuba would foster stable business contacts that are mutually beneficial.

A multi-national Belarus – Latin America forum was also suggested.
