Havana, November 7 (RHC) The agreements reached at the negotiating table between the Colombian government and Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) on political participation constitute a new step forwards to peace said Rodolfo Benitez, representative of Cuba as guarantor country.
These agreements add to those announced on May 26 about a comprehensive agricultural development policy, Benitez said.
Rodolfo Benitez affirmed that Cuba will continue contributing as much as possible to reach a final agreement to end the Colombian conflict and to build a stable, lasting peace.
Cuba and Norway are guarantors for the talks, Chile and Venezuela as accompanying countries.
