Cuban President Meets with Japanese Foreign Minister

Havana, May 4 (RHC) -- Cuban President Raul Castro met on Saturday, May 2nd, with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida, who paid an official visit to Cuba.

The Cuban head of state and the Japanese foreign minister expressed their satisfaction for the positive unfolding of bilateral relations between the two countries and addressed issues of international interest.

Minister Kishida was accompanied by Japanese ambassador to Havana, Hiroshi Sato, and on the Cuban side was Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriquez, along with the director of Asia and Oceania at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Miguel Angel Ramirez.
