Rosario, November 25 (RHC)- The Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba – known as MASCUBA— warned about the seriousness of the legal situation of four Cuban anti-terrorists currently in U.S. jails.
At the 2 day meeting of 12th National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, which ended Sunday in the Argentine province of Rosario, a resolution noted that the U.S. Government appears to lack political will for a positive end to the situation.
One of the Five already served his 15 year sentence and has returned to Cuba but the other Four are still in US prisons and must be freed, the Argentine meeting said.
Ms, Kenia Serrano, member of the Cuban National Assembly and President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, chaired the Solidarity with Cuba Meeting along with the Argentine intellectuals Lidia Donini, Alberto Mas and Leticia Fachedini.
The meeting in the Argentine city of Rosario was attended by over five hundred delegates and was widely covered by the provincial and national Argentine media.
