Equatorial Guinea Condemns U.S. Blockade of Cuba

Malabo, September 22 (RHC)-- The President of the Senate of Equatorial Guinea, Teresa Efua Asangono, condemned the US blockade policy towards Cuba, calling it a major obstacle in the way toward fully normalized relations between the two countries.

During a meeting with Cuban ambassador, Pedro Doña, Senator Asangono said that on October 27th her government will once again vote at the UN General Assembly in favor of the Cuban resolution, calling for the lifting of the US blockade.

Cuban Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Pedro Doña, took the opportunity to thank the African lawmaker for her personal, unconditional support to and solidarity with Cuba.
