Washington, November 18 (RHC)-- Some 37 percent of men and women in the U.S. are interested in traveling to Cuba in the future, according to a survey by Switchfly agency, specialized in the tourist sector.

According to the agency, the largest percent in geographical terms is found in northern U.S. states, followed by Southeastern regions and the East Coast.

The survey also revealed that 52 percent of students and half of all university graduates questioned would like to visit the island.

In terms of age, 46 percent of those born after 1980 are interested in coming soon, and 36 percent of baby-boomers, as those born after World War II are known, would also consider Cuba a future tourist destination.

The Cuban Tourism Ministry announced on Tuesday the arrival of a record three million vacationers, 45 days before the year's end.
