Washington, December 11 (RHC)-- The Cuban embassy in Washington, DC reports that an agreement has been reached between Cuba and the United States to re-establish direct postal service. The agreement comes just days before the first anniversary of the announcement of the process of re-establishing diplomatic relations.

According to Cuba's embassy in the U.S., postal service between the two countries will begin with “a pilot plan for mail transport, which will start up in the next few weeks and will be carried out permanently in the future.”
