Deputy Director General of UNESCO Visits Cuba

Havana, January 27 (RHC) -- Nada Al-Nashif, Deputy Assistant Director General of UNESCO for Social Sciences, is visiting Cuba to participate in the Second International Conference "With All and for the Good of All," which is holding sessions dedicated to the legacy of Cuban National Hero José Martí.

On Thursday, the UN official will present Mexican writer Alfonso Herrera Franyuti with UNESCO's José Martí International Prize 2016.

During her stay, Al Nashif is scheduled to meet with Cuban researchers in the field of Social Sciences, and will visit the Anti-doping Lab. at the Institute of Sports Medicine.
