Cuba Becomes Member of Organization for World Peace

Havana, January 28 (RHC)-- Abíd Alí Abd, President of the Organization for World Peace (OWP) announced in Havana that Cuba has now become member 34th of the international organization, created in Denmark in 2005.

The president of the Organization for World Peace said the organization advocates for non-violent solutions in dealing with various conflicts occurring throughout the world.

Alí Abíd said Cuba is a permanent source of inspiration for millions of people all over the world, and shares the organization's vision of a world where peace is the accepted way and violence and aggression become remnants of the past, a world where warfare is no longer an option amongst civilizations.

The OWP leader said that throughout the year, the organizations engages in international projects that are aimed at increasing the quality of life for individuals living in conflict stricken communities.
