Washington, February 17 (RHC)-- Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca assured that U.S. companies, wanting to do business with Cuba, will not be discriminated against, once the trade restrictions imposed by the U.S. blockade policy are finally lifted.

Speaking at a press conference Tuesday afternoon in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, Malmierca said that U.S. companies will be welcome and will receive the same treatment as companies from other countries.

The official noted that foreign investment is a key component of Cuba’s development strategy and the new foreign investment law offers guarantees and incentives to attract foreign partners.
