Tributes and messages of condolences from Attorney Leonard Weinglass, member of the Cuban Five defence team and the relatives of the five Cuban heroes on the death of Philip Agee, who passed away on January 7th 2008

For Philip:

"Yours was a profound contribution to the education of millions
about the forces that deprive the poor and oppressed of their
well being and hope. You succeeded in tearing away their mask
of deniability and innocence.

To the end you assisted the fight for justice for the Cuban Five
with your impressive knowledge that only an insider could have
brought to the task. We who remain in that struggle are greatly
indebted to you.

For those of us who knew you, your quiet modesty and
gentlemanly manner warms our memory of you.
Rest in peace, Philip.
Your example remains an inspiration.
