Washington Acknowledges Cuba´s Effective Drug Fight Strategy

Havana, March 8 (RHC)--Cuba continues to successfully dedicate significant resources to preventing illegal drugs and illegal drug use from spreading on the island, the US Department of State said in its 2012 International Narcotics Control Strategy Report (INCSR).

International Conference on Operations Research Underway in Havana

Havana, March 7 (RHC)-- The Tenth International Conference on Operations Research (ICOR) was inaugurated Tuesday morning at the Main Lecture Hall of the University of Havana with the presence of nearly 180 personalities and specialists from the field of mathematics.  The conference will meet through Friday, March 9th and participants will discuss topics such as modeling, computer solutions, and practical applications of these studies.
