Cuban Foreign Minister at NAM Meeting in Egypt

Havana, May 8 (RHC-ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez is attending a meeting of the Ministerial Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) underway in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm-el-Sheik, Egypt, in preparation for the 16th annual NAM Summit Conference to be held in Tehran, Iran, in November.

Chilean Students Demand Freedom for the Cuban Five

 

Santiago de Chile, May 8 (RHC) Representatives of the Chilean student movement and the Chilean Communist Youth condemned the unjust imprisonment of the five Cubans held in the United States under alleged espionage charges at a massive rally in Santiago de Chile. The sympathetic youth demanded the immediate release of the Cuban patriots and expressed their solidarity and support for the Cuban people and their Revolution.

Cuba Rejects Declarations Made by Spanish Foreign Minister

 

 

Havana, May 8 (RHC) Cuban Vice-minister of Foreign Relations, Dagoberto Rodríguez, classified the recent comments by Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel García-Margallo, as interfering, disrespectful, and naïve. Rodríguez referred to the statements recently published in the Spanish Daily newspaper, ABC, in which García-Margallo mentioned the possibility of meeting with mercenary groups paid by a foreign government during an eventual trip to Cuba.
