Che Guevara´s Unpublished Book to be Launched in Havana this Week

Havana, June 11 (RHC)—The book “Philosophical Notes” by Ernesto Che Guevara, an unpublished volume, will be launched on June 14 at Havana´s International Press Center by the Ocean Press and Ocean South publishing houses.

Cuba Could Report its Lowest Infant Mortality Rate this Year

Cuba Intensifies Struggle against Illegal Coastal Actions

Havana, June 7 (RHC-ACN) Cuba’s Border Patrol Division detected 542 illegal actions on the island’s coasts from January 1 to May 31 this year, a higher figure than the same period last year. In addition to measures protecting Cuban coasts from illegal activity that may affect the international community, such as drug trafficking, the Interior Ministry division also plays its own role to protect the environment.

Raul Castro Sends Nigerian Authorities Message of Condolences

Havana, June 7 (RHC)—Cuban President Raul Castro sent a message of condolences to Nigerian head of state Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for the death of at least 153 people in a plain accident last June 3 in the city of Lagos.
