Cuba and Algeria to Strengthen Cooperation with New Agreements

Havana, Feb 28 (ACN-RHC) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and
Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, and the Algerian Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Djamel Ould Abbes, are heading their respective delegations to the 17th Session of the Cuba-Algeria Intergovernmental Commission for Technical, Scientific and Economic Cooperation that began on Tuesday in Havana.


According to a statement from the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the agenda includes the signing of several cooperation agreements during the final day of the meeting on Thursday, March 1st.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, both sides are to discuss the results of
existing accords and find ways to boost cooperation in the fields of trade, health, the production of vaccines and medicines, sports, water resources, agriculture, education, culture, and technical-scientific research.
