News Cuba Attends Tourism Fair in Paris

Havana, March 15 (ACN-RHC) Cuba is one of over 500 destinations promoted at the Paris World Tourism Fair beginning Thursday at the Porte de Versaillles exhibition center. The island is represented by six enterprises, including Cubana de Aviacion airline, tour operator Havanatur, hotel chains Cubanacan Hotels and Sol Melia Cuba, and the Cuban Tourism Office in Paris.
Considered the most important event of the leisure industry in France, the Fair features a space for the promotion of uncommon trips such as spending a day surrounded by wild animals, exploring India on a bicycle or the emerging Eco-Tourism, which aims to educate tourists about the environment promote travel with less ecological damage.
