More than 100 Medical Students from Ecuador, Bolivia and Honduras Graduate in Cuba
Havana, May 5 (RHC)-- More than100 medical students from Ecuador, Bolivia and Honduras have graduated in Havana and become medical doctors.
CristianFariango, one of the graduates, said that with the knowledge and humanistic sensibility acquired, they will tryto break the backward state of health, ignorance and misery of their home countries.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Cuban government, which spends many resources for comprehensive medical training, despite the economic limitations arising from the U.S.blockade against Cuba.
EsneiderGomez, a representative of the Embassy of Ecuador to Cuba, said the training of these professionals is vitally important to fulfill the health care needs of Latin America.
