News Cuba Promotes New Business Opportunities with China

Beijing, May 14 (RHC) -- The president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Estrella Madrigal, is meeting with Chinese business people about aspects of the Cuban economy and promoting investment in a variety of economic sectors on the island.
Some of the issues that were discussed pertained to legal matters, business opportunities and bilateral collaboration. The presentation, which took place in Beijing, marked the beginning of a program that will involve conversations with directors of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
According to Prensa Latina news agency, another objective of the visit is to discuss the International Fair in Havana, which will begin in November and traditionally attracts a large number of Chinese business representatives.
