Raul Castro meets with Sec-Gen of the Spanish Communist Party
Havana, June 11, (RHC), -- Cuban president, Raul Castro, met on Saturday with the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Spain, Jose Luis Centella, who pays an official visit to Cuba.
During the meeting, held on Saturday, both leaders vowed to strengthen the links of friendship between the communist parties of the two countries.
They also discussed issues of mutual interest, such as the movement of solidarity with Cuba in the Iberian nation.
The also spokesman of the United Left coalition in the Spanish Congress was accompanied by Alberto Garzon, deputy to the Congress of Malaga, and Gloria Aguilar, Secretary of International Cooperation of the Communist Party of Spain.
As part of their visit to Havana, the Spanish officials met with functionaries of the Cuban Communist Party and the government. They also toured places of historic, economical and social relevance.
