X International Seminar on Active Aging Begins in Cuba
Havana, May 2 (RHC) The Caribbean Medical Association and the 120 year Club welcomed all participants to the X International Seminar on Active Aging. This Seminar has the objective of establishing intergenerational exchanges about how to maintain long and productive lives. The seminar is taking place from May 2nd to 4th at Cuba’s National Hotel.
The 21st century is full of opportunities to expand life span and these opportunities come from the development of science, medicine, culture and work. However, it is true that in a parallel manner in the 21st century there are still vital elements denied to a significant part of humankind denying them many of the hopes and opportunities for a long healthy life.
Cuba offers a unique platform where Science and Society come together in an articulated way for the life of human beings. This event will welcome scientists of all fields to debate these experiences.
