Solar storm set to cause disruption on Earth

The largest solar storm in five years is headed for Earth where it’s set to disrupt power grids and some communications systems.

On the plus side it could also produce some vivid auroras making the Northern Lights visible in more southern regions.

Scientists say the cloud of charged particles was triggered by a pair of solar flares. /Euronews
