Cuba’s Mijain Lopez retains Olympic title in Greco-Roman
Cuban Mijain Lopez became on Monday double Olympic champion after winning for the second consecutive time the golden title at the 120 kg Greco-Roman wrestling competition in London.
Lopez, four-time world champion, was in a very good shape throughout the competition and ratified it in the finals, beating Estonian Heiki Nabi in two sets (2-0 and 1-0).
In this category the third places went to the Turkish Kayaalp Riza, who defeated Georgian Pherselidze Guram 3-0 and Swede Johan Euren, who beat Belarus Ioseb Chugoshvili 3-1.
Medal counter in the 120 kg Greco-Roman wrestling:
Gold: Mijain Lopez (CUB).
Silver: Heiki Nabi (EST).
Bronze: Riza Kayaalp (TUR) and Johan Euren (SWE).
