Russian Media Warns of Possible Military Strike against Syria
Moscow, February 24 (RHC)-- Russia Today is warning that the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are making plans for military actions against Syria. According to the Russian TV channel, different scenarios are being developed by the Pentagon, which will be submitted for the approval of U.S. President Barack Obama.
The report by Russia Today says that a gathering in Tunis on Friday of the so-called Conference of the Friends of Syria will probe the acceptance of going to war against the government of President Bashar al-Assad. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is reportedly floating the idea of the possible involvement of troops from France, Britain, Italy and Turkey in an attack against Damascus.
