President Hugo Chavez Says He Will Return to Venezuela Soon
Havana, March 10 (RHC) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez greeted the population of Barinas State warmly, thanking them for their expressions of support; and said he will return to the country soon.
In a message posted on Twitter, the Venezuelan leader, who is at a Havana hospital recuperating after a surgery, thanked a solidarity mass meeting held in that territory on Friday.
Chavez also called for unity within the revolutionary ranks to achieve the objectives set for the strengthening of the socialist system in the South American nation.
