Venezuelan Minister of Community Affairs Call for Unity in Election Campaign
Caracas, March 27(RHC) Venezuelan Minister for Community Affairs, Isis Ochoa, clearly called to assume the leadership of President Hugo Chavez and the responsibilities without underestimating the enemy with a view to the polls in October.
In an interview to Toda Venezuela TV program, she said that triumphalism should be rejected, though surveys put Chavez with a wide margin of victory to the opposition candidate Henrique Carriles.
Isis Ochoa urged the Venezuelan people to maintain unity and not demobilize in the election campaign, because it is not just a matter of internal opposition, but from external political pressures.
The Venezuelan political opposition emphasizes the destabilizing actions to create environments of anguish and anxietyin the country.
