One man killed in shooting outside Berlin hospital
Berlin, April 5, (RHC), -- At least one man has been killed in a suspected hate crime in the German capital, Berlin on Thursday.
The incident occurred when gunmen opened fire on a group of youths outside a hospital in the Neukoelln district of Berlin, known for its large immigrant community.
According to reports, a young man of 22, of immigrant origin, was killed and two young men were seriously wounded.
Local media also said that all five men in the targeted group were of Turkish origin.
Police also announced that a manhunt is underway for the assailant, who has fled on foot.
The development comes amid a growing anti-immigrant campaign in most Western European countries by nationalist elements and rightist governments. /PRESSTV
