Protesters Back to the Streets in Spain
Madrid, May 12 (RHC)—Protesters took to the streets and squares throughout Spain on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the M-15 movement, which stemmed from massive demonstrations staged May 15, 2011 against the political and financial crisis.
Tens of thousands were scheduled to carry out demonstrations to voice their discontent for the lack of solutions for their demands, Prensa Latina news agency reported.
With renewed strength and facing new public budget cuts by the conservative government of Mariano Rajoy, the protesters will occupy the same public areas that were scenarios of protests a year ago.
