La Paz, May 14 (RHC) -- Bolivian President Evo Morales praised the unity of the agricultural workers’ movement in the country during the closing session of the 15th Congress of the United Federation of Agricultural Workers in the city of Cochabamba.
Morales stressed that the presence of some 7,000 delegates to the final session of the event was a great example of the cohesion of the sector, which began its meeting on Friday, May 11th.
The conclusions of the Congress supported the consolidation of the process of change in the Andean country and the implementation of social, economic and cultural policies, in addition to denunciations of the opposition’s plans to discriminate and exclude indigenous agricultural workers.
