Evo Morales Begins Second Version of Water Program in Bolivian
La Paz, May 19 (RHC) Bolivian President Evo Morales received dozens of municipality projects to be implemented in the second stage of the program “Mas Inversion para el agua,” or “More Investment for the Water,” in the city of Cochabamba.
In a public act, Morales announced that the proposals to be included in the national investments of next year will be revised in the departments of Tarija and Beni, among others.
He also expressed his desire for the rural populations to have 100% access to water, as the political constitution of the state establishes by stating that the vital liquid is a human right.
The Bolivarian Head of State highlighted that the first stage of the program Mi agua, or My water, registered important results for 2011 all over the nation, with the implementation of more than 1000 projects.
