Che’s Hometown in Argentina Hosts Conference on Emancipating Integration
Buenos Aires, June 12 (RHC) -- The second International Latin American and the Caribbean Conference: Roads to Emancipating Integration will be held on June 14th and 15th in the city of Rosario, Argentina, the hometown of legendary guerrilla fighter Ernesto Che Guevara.
President of the center for the study and distribution of Latin American and Caribbean views on unity and integration, Norberto Champa, said that some 400 people will participate in the theoretical meeting, which is part of the program of activities of the long-established week-long Symposium on Che.
In order to mark the 84th anniversary of Ernesto Guevara’s birth, the 2012 Conference will include a photo exhibition on his travels throughout the Americas and also an official ceremony at the monument erected in his honor in that Argentinean city.
