Argentinean President Opens Expansion of YPF Refinery

Havana, August 10 (RHC) -- Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez has inaugurated the expansion and modernization of the YPF refinery, in the city of Ensenada. The new facility will help increase gasoline production by 13 percent.

The Argentinean stateswoman said that the project, with an investment of 310 million dollars, will help replace imports worth nearly 180 million dollars with domestic production.

In her opening speech, President Cristina Fernandez praised the agreement on the implementation of the Hydrocarbons Law signed by the governors of the oil provinces.
