Tourists Love to Stay at Cuba’s Ancient Hotels

Havana, August 22 (RHC) - According to a survey conducted by the Cuban Tourism Ministry, most tourists traveling to Cuba prefer to lodge at the country’s oldest hotels.

One such architectural jewels is La Union Hotel, located in Cienfuegos, Central Cuba, 155 miles east of Havana.

Located in downtown Cienfuegos, this hotel was built 140 years ago. It exhibits a redecoration of its golden period, but enhanced with the comforts of modern life.

Russian dancer Ana Pavlova, Spanish General Cap. Arsenio Martinez Campos, the friend of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, Juan Gualberto Gomez, and Chess world champion Jose Raul Capablanca were gusts are this hotel.
