The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, ICC, recently reported from the city of The Hague, Netherlands, the opening of an investigation into the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime of Israel against the Palestinian people.

Since 2019, ICC determined there are reasonable grounds to inquire about the crimes committed against the civilian population crowded in the Gaza Strip.

The judge also assured that there is full jurisdiction to judge human rights violations perpetrated in Palestinian territory, although many are still reluctant to recognize it as an independent state with full sovereignty.

However, no further progress could be made due to the strong pressure exerted by the U.S. government, presided over by Donald Trump, which actually applied sanctions against the highest officials of the ICC.

Washington had already banned Bensouda from entering U.S. territory when she warned that it was possible to judge and punish the outrages committed by Pentagon troops during the attack and occupation of Afghanistan.

Trump immediately used his power and influence to defend his main ally in the Middle East.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described the actions of the International Criminal Court as an act of "political hostility" against his country and refuses to acknowledge that genocide is being carried out against the Palestinians, from whom Tel Aviv has already stolen more than half of their territory.

The ICC researchers sent out to investigate will focus on the operation called "Protective Edge," which was carried out from July 8 to August 26, 2014.  The actions were concentrated in the Gaza Strip, a narrow territory of 365 square kilometers where over two million people live, surrounded by land and sea.

For 49 days, the Zionist army and air force indiscriminately bombarded that region by air, sea and land, causing 2,300 Palestinians casualties, most of them civilians and many of them children.

There were also 11,000 people wounded in the attacks, while hospitals, schools, public buildings and thousands of homes were destroyed.

This atrocity had the full support of Washington and the complicit silence of most European governments.  The U.S. and Europe should also be on trial for their crimes and receive the full weight of justice.

The final sentence of this article is 100% accurate, but its suggestion will never occur because the Zionists own 99.9% of US politicians, including Joe "Bought and Paid For" Biden. Until Washington, DC, is liberated from Israeli occupation, there will be absolutely no change for the better in Palestine.
