Cuban singer Alain Perez presented Wednesday his latest album ‘El cuento de la Buena Pipa’ in Havana.

Also a renowned bassist, Cuba’s Alain Perez worked for many years with Flamenco artist Paco de Lucía. He is considered by critics as one of the greatest Cuban musicians of the 21st century.

‘El cuento de la Buena Pipa’ includes 12 songs –a journey through different music genres, from rumba to son and bolero music.

Under the label of Cuba’s Recording Company (EGREM), the latest album by Alain Perez will be available on all digital platforms as of this Friday, February 28th.

For this latest album, the artist had the collaboration of other talented musicians, among them Alexander Abreu, Rolando Luna, Marc Quiñones, Dairon Oney, Adonis Panter, Maikel Dinza and Yuri Nogueira, as well as Cuba’s Camerata Romeu feminine Chamber Orchestra.

Alain Perez announced that he will embark on a national tour to promote ‘El cuento de la Buena Pipa.’ The tour will begin with a concert at Havana’s Karl Marx theater on April 18th.
