Yoenlis Hernandez will be the first Cuban to step into the ring in the finals of the World Boxing Championship that will conclude this Saturday in Belgrade, Serbia.

Havana, November 5 (RHC)-- The 75 kg Yoenlis Hernandez will be the first Cuban to step into the ring in the finals of the World Boxing Championship that will conclude this Saturday in Belgrade, Serbia.

Yoenlis will face Dzhambulat Bizhamov for the title, in the fifth fight of the seven scheduled on Friday's bill.   Today, there will also be bouts in the 48, 54, 60, 67, 86 and over 92 kilos divisions.

Tomorrow, Saturday, the last day of the event, there will be six fights in 51, 57, 63.5, 71, 80 and 92, an evening in which two other Cuban fighters, Andy Cruz and Julio César La Cruz, will be present.
 
In (63.5) kgs, the Olympic champion of Tokyo-2020, Andy Cruz will face Kerem Oezmen (Turkey) and in the 92 kgs, the double titleholder in Rio-2016 and Tokyo-2020 Julio Cesar La Cruz will be looking for his fifth world crown against Abbes Mouhiidine (Italy).
 
Andy will be in the third Saturday clash and Julio Cesar will close the World Championship.
 
The Cuban squad secured five medals in this event. In addition to the three safe ones in the hands of the finalists, Herich Ruíz (86 kgs) and Osvel Caballero (57 kgs) finished in bronze.
