Havana, August 10 (RHC)-- Eintrancht Frankfurt has lost its star midfielder, Serbian Filip Kostic, who was left out of the squad for the European Super Cup, as he is negotiating his transfer to Juventus.

Kostic, 29, was a key player in the team that won the Europa League last season, and is a notable casualty ahead of Wednesday's match against Real Madrid and for the current contest.

The midfielder is currently working out the details of his new contract, now in the Italian League, and for this reason will not be in the transcendental match for continental supremacy.

Eintrancht Frankfurt made its Bundesliga debut last weekend with a 6-1 defeat against defending champion Bayern Munich, in which Kostic played 74 minutes and was shown a yellow card for protesting.
