Havana, Jul 15 (RHC) - With the arrival of German coach Hansi Flick at the Ciudad Deportiva, FC Barcelona officially kicked off the preseason for the 2025-2026 season, in which they will defend the Spanish League title.

According to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, which is close to the Catalan club, "Flick does not want to leave any loose ends or anything subject to improvisation, and so he has anticipated the arrival of his players by almost eight hours in order to have everything ready for the afternoon training session".

After the usual and traditional medical check-ups that took place this Sunday, the first session is scheduled for 18:00 local time on Monday, with the presence of all the players, including 10 from the reserve team.

Also on Monday, Barcelona officially announced the signing of Swedish winger Roony Bardghji, a 19-year-old winger from FC Copenhagen.

In 10 days, Barcelona will begin a pre-season tour of Asia, which will include training and preparation matches in South Korea and Japan.
