Havana, July 19 (RHC) FC Barcelona signed English footballer Marcus Rashford, strengthening its attack ahead of the 2025-2026 season, The Athletic revealed today.

According to the media outlet, cited by major Spanish sports newspapers, “after Nico Williams' refusal, Barcelona secured the signing of Rashford” from Manchester United.

The agreement between the clubs has already been finalized, and the arrival of the 27-year-old striker is imminent, it claims.

The Catalan club's intention, according to Mundo Deportivo, is to integrate Rashford as soon as possible to ensure his presence on the preseason tour of Asia, which kicks off on the 24th in South Korea.

In the coming hours or days, the official signing of the contract is expected, in the form of a one-season loan with a non-mandatory purchase option estimated at around €35 million.
