Havana, October 2 (RHC)-- A Cuban delegation is attending the International Tourism Fair in France, TOP RESA 2019, underway from October 1-4 in Paris.

Cubadebate reports that the Cuban delegation is made up of Elio Rodriguez Perdomo, Cuba's ambassador to the European nation, as well as a representation of the hotel groups Gran Caribe and Cubanacan, the travel agencies Cubatur, Cubanacan Viajes, Ecotur, San Cristobal and Paradiso; as well as the associates Iberostar, Melia Hoteles, ROC Hoteles, Muthu and Blue Diamonds, among others.

France is an important issuer of tourists to Cuba, so it favors a greater representation of the services of the Caribbean nation in the European country, in order to diversify new products and modalities to trade, including diving, sailing, nature, tours, circuits, heritage cities, events and incentives, cultural tourism and health.

Last year, 177.652 French tourists visited Cuba and therefore one of the key goals of the Cuban delegation at the event will be to hire people for this winter and launch new products for next summer.

Likewise, Cuba will launch the call for the next International Tourism Fair, FITCUBA 2020, to be held in Varadero May 4-9 of next year, and will be dedicated to the product Sun and Beach, with Russia as the guest country.
