La Paz, November 10 (RHC)-- The Venezuelan ambassador to Bolivia, Crisbeylee González, has denounced attacks by sectors of the opposition to her country's embassy in La Paz.

"We are okay, but they took over the embassy.  They wanted to kill us.  We must denounce this action," said the Venezuelan diplomat.

These events take place after the political crisis in the Andean country that led to the resignation of the president, Evo Morales, Sunday afternoon.

Argentinean author and political analyst Atilio Borón wrote on his Twitter account: "The fascists are threatening the embassies of Venezuela and Cuba in La Paz, their facilities and their diplomatic personnel.  The United Nations and the OAS must stop these infamous hordes. Gutérres and Almagro will be responsible for their inaction of what happens there."
